PvE

In PvE, players face monsters and environmental hazards, alone or as a team, to explore uncharted territories and gain various items. Bosses in PVE will go WEAK after using certain abilities. If Masters use their skills on a WEAK target, they will build a bar underneath its HP bar that, when full, will stun the Boss and allow all attacks to critical strike for a brief period.

Types of PvE

PvE is divided into Stages / Timespace Distortions / Natium Defense Line, all of which can be entered by using the Dispatch button.

Timespace Distortions and Natium Defense Line open only at specific times. Their schedules can be checked in the Calendar.

You can check the event schedule by clicking the Calendar icon on the top right of the screen.

Stage

Click the Dispatch button on the Bridge to display the Select Stage window.

After selecting a stage, set the Stage Difficulty and click the Next button to confirm your selections.

Invite friends or press the Party Matching button to recruit party members to tackle the stage together.
If you want to play solo, click the Dispatch Now button to go in alone.
Select 2 Masters to dispatch from the Loadout Select window, and click the Next button.
You may also use Free Rotation Masters or Mercenaries you've obtained instead of your own Masters.

Select your desired Master Skin, Weapon Augments, Active Skills, and Node Page, then click the Ready button.
When all party members have chosen their Masters and confirmed their loadouts, a countdown begins to take your party into the Stage.

Rank

After a Stage is cleared, the party is given a Rank based on their performance. Your performance is measured by your overall damage dealt, damage or deaths suffered, your overall time to clear the Stage, and technique (such as hit chains).
Players are ranked from C to SSS and get additional reward picks the higher they are Ranked.
When selecting rewards, players can spend X-Coin ()  to gain additional picks.

Random Stage

Stage and Area are selected randomly, but the player can set the Stage Difficulty.

Timespace Distortion

An event-type dungeon that only opens temporarily. Several dungeons are encompassed by the Timespace Distortion, and only one is open at a time. Ranks, rewards, and other features are identical to normal stages.

However, Timespace Distortions offer only two difficulties, Normal and Extreme.

Certain Masters unlock requirements and weapon augment upgrade materials can only be obtained via drops from Timespace Distortions. These are Masters represented by Each distortion. For example, Kromede can be unlocked with drops from Fire Temple.

Natium Defense Line

Natium Defense Line is a Nightmare difficulty, 5-player horde mode based on wave defense. In this mode, players defend against swarms of monsters hellbent on destroying Natium, and compete with other Natium groups on leaderboard records.

There are 30 waves of enemies in total, and the mode ends when either Natium is destroyed or the party defeats the final boss. Rewards are determined by the number of waves cleared.

Different types and combinations of monsters appear in each wave, and while most charge towards Natium to self-destruct, players must also watch out for monsters that will attack Masters instead.

Some special monsters require certain skills or teamwork between Masters to defeat, so work together.

Your Account Level has to be at least level 35 to dispatch to Natium Defensive Line.

Incoming waves are shown on the right side of the screen and are pre-loaded on the minimap as a warning.

You can use resources obtained by defeating monsters to summon Defensive Guardians or call for Dredgion air support.

Clearing waves quickly with minimal casualties or damage taken will increase your ranking.

Master Training Area

Can be accessed via the Dispatch screen in the Bridge.
